WHO IS COACH NEL?

Behind every great athlete is a powerful story, and Coach Nelsa Delagente’s is rooted in resilience. Growing up in the Philippines in a home with dirt floors, Nelsa’s family faced incredible financial hardships. When she was eight, she desperately needed new shoes, but her parents couldn’t afford them. Hearing that softball players were given shoes, she joined the team.

What started as a search for shoes quickly turned into a profound passion. Nelsa’s dedication took her all the way to the National Team and the Softball World Series, providing her a platform to earn recognition and financially support her loved ones.

Now, as a coach, Nelsa brings that deep love for the game to your child. She understands that softball is about more than just athletic skill—it’s about building confidence, structure, and lifelong character. She specializes in creating safe, structured, and encouraging environments where your player can truly thrive.
